Tiki Mug – Tropical Cocktail – Drum Barrel #1 – Tiki Diablo

This is the first tiki mug from Tiki Diablo’s new line, “Tropical Cocktail Mugs”. This mug features vintage shark-faced nose art, commonly associated with The Flying Tigers, who were a group of American volunteers with the mission of defending China against Japanese forces in WWII. The shark-faced nose art of the P40 is arguably the most recognized nose art of WWII. Drum Barrel was released in two colors. Gray (Jet Fuel) and Green (Torpedo Juice).They debuted at the Shipwrecked Event in Marina Del Rey, CA, on April 30th, 2022.

Tiki Diablo is the moniker of Daniel Gallardo, an artist and carver known for his work in the Tiki revival. He’s recognized as one of the first to resurrect the art of sculpting Tikis, blending ancient traditions with modern stylization. Tiki Diablo is based in the Los Angeles area and operates as a company, creating various Tiki-themed art pieces.

Jet Fuel – The Jet Fuel cocktail recipe was crested exclusively for the launch of “Tropical Cocktail Mugs” in 2022 by Vatos Who Tiki.

Coruba Jamaican Rum – 1 ounce
Plantation Barbados 5 Year Rum – ¾ ounce
Plantation O.F.T.D. Overproof Rum – 1 ounce
Falernum Liqueur – ½ ounce
Pernod Liqueur – ⅛ teaspoon
Fresh Grapefruit Juice – ½ ounce
Fresh Lime Juice – ½ ounce
Cinnamon Syrup – ½ ounce
Angostura Bitters – 1 dash

Combine all ingredients in a blender with 8 ounces of crushed ice. Flash blend and pour contents into the Drum Barrel Mug. Add crushed ice to fill. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and fresh mint sprig.
