Kin Pottery is a creative workshop from Samara, Russia. The workshop consists of very talented artists, sculptors and potters specializing in very limited productions.

Cunning Monkey – Banana is rarely the star in a cocktail, but it steals the show in this delightful drink. The combination of aged rum and banana liqueur is a surprisingly good one. The banana draws out the fruity notes of the rum and lets them stand apart from the darker molasses flavors. The result is a cocktail with a hint of caramelized banana flavor – which, incidentally, makes the perfect garnish.

Jamaican Aged Rum – 1 ¼ ounces
Banana Liqueur – 1 ounce
Falernum Liqueur – ½ ounce
Pineapple Syrup – ¾ ounce

Combine all the ingredients in a shaker and fill with ice cubes. Shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds. Strain the contents of the shaker into the Monkey Mug. Garnish with a caramelized banana slice speared on a cocktail pick.

How to make a carmelized banana garnish – Cut a banana into ½ inch-thick rounds. Coat the top of each slice generously with sugar and heat with a kitchen torch until golden. Repeat with the bottom side of the banana slices.
