Tiki Mug – Three Dots and a Dash – Whack-Whack #1 – Philippe Tilikete

Philippe Tilikete is a French born graphic artist living in Los Angeles, California. Currently working as a Character-Graphic Designer for Illumination Entertainment. Clients include: Bento Box, Cartoon Network, Disney TV, Dreamworks, Prana Studios, Pylon Skateboards, Tiki Farm, Titmouse Studios and Wild Brian Animation.

Three Dots and a Dash – Created during World War II by Donn Beach. The name is Morse code for “Victory”.

Blended Aged Rum – ½ ounce
John D. Taylors Velvet Falernum – ¼ ounce
Rhum Agricole Vieux AOC – 1 ½ ounces
St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram – ¼ ounce
Fresh Lime Juice – ½ ounce
Fresh Orange Juice – ½ ounce
SC Honey Syrup – ½ ounce
Angostura Bitters – 1 dash

Add all the ingredients to a blender. Fill with 12 ounces of crushed ice and 4 to 6 small agitator cubes. Flash blend and open pour with gated finish into the Pineapple Mug. Garnish with three maraschino cherries speared on a cocktail pick, plus a pineapple frond. The garnish cleverly represents the Morse code. The three cherries are the “dots”, and the Pineapple frond is the “dash”.
